Opening Day 🌱

Dear friends,

As I started composing this newsletter, I noticed that the last one I sent out was exactly on this date three months ago. After we wrapped the last Pop-Up event at the end of March, it has been a crazy whirlwind! Packing, moving, unpacking, planning, building, prepping, cleaning, rinsing and repeating....day in and day out, it's been nonstop activity.

I wish I had been better about sending along construction updates as we built out the new bakeshop but the weeks and months truly went by in the blink of an eye with no time at the end of the days to get it all done. Those of you who follow us on our social media platforms, I hope you were able to at least enjoy the sporadic picture updates that we shared during that time.

There is so much that I want to tell you about but, for today, I'll just tell you this...

WE ARE OPENING THIS FRIDAY, JULY 5TH!!!

We have been working really hard towards this moment for a veerrryyy long time and I'm SO excited! Excited to be back in the kitchen, to be back to baking bread, to be getting back to the markets, to getting to see you all again.

We won't have a full menu right out of the gate and we definitely haven't figured out everything 100%....but I know that we'll get the hang of things very quickly and so we ask for your patience and understanding during the weeks after the opening. We built this bakery for you and I'm positively certain that we'll make it great together with your help!

Our shop is located at the new Rockford City Indoor Market
116 N. Madison St.
Rockford, IL 61107

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7am-7pm.
Open on Fridays from 7am-9pm.
Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
