All orders must be picked up from our bakeshop. We are located at 116 N. Madison St. in downtown Rockford inside the Rockford City Market.

For hot dumplings, call the shop at least 30 minutes ahead so we can start preparing them for you. Our number is (815)315-0960. How To Steam Dumplings At Home

  1. Bring water to boil in a pot

  2. Spray non-stick spray on your steamer/steamer basket and arrange your frozen dumplings on there leaving about 1/2" space in between

  3. Cover with the lid and place the dumplings over the boiling water

  4. Steam for 20 minutes

  5. Carefully remove steamer and dumplings from the pot

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

How To Eat and Reheat Dumplings!

When eating the beef dumplings, please note that the filling is quite brothy (almost like a soup dumpling aka Xiaolongbao) so be careful! Take a small bite out of the skin and slurp up the delicious soup before eating the rest of the dumpling - just like how the C&C girls are demonstrating in the video below! The vegan dumpling will not be soupy so you don’t need to treat it the same way. Also if the beef dumplings are not served hot immediately after steaming, the soup tends to dissipate away and will reabsorb back into the filling the longer the dumpling sits.

When reheating cooked/refrigerated dumplings, you can microwave or even re-steam for a few minutes to heat them up. Our favorite way however is to pan fry them back to life! Melt a little bit of butter in a sauté pan and fry the dumplings until the inside is fully reheated and there is a beautiful golden crispy crust on the bottom.
