OVERNIGHT OPENING BAKER (FT) - Looking for talented individuals who are passionate about artisanal baking and providing the best pastries, bread, and confections to our customers while meeting C&C quality standards. Responsibilities include baking off all bread and pastries for the shop on a daily basis; mixing and shaping bread; assisting with fulfillment of special orders for customers; production planning and scheduling; managing inventory and assisting with development of new menu items. The ideal candidate must be able to operate large mixers, commercial ovens, and other kitchen equipment; be able to lift up to 50lbs; and help with customer service if needed. The ideal candidate must also be service-oriented, a team player, committed to maintaining a positive work environment, able to work in a small fast-paced kitchen setting, have good time management, have good communication, be detail oriented, and have the ability to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. The overnight baker must be available to work Tuesday - Saturday from 2am- 10am (and 12am-8am during the summer season).
